Come in costume as your favorite character from THE LOVE BOAT and join the Milton Theatre for unGALA 2025 as we transform into a retro cruise ship for an evening filled with fun, music, and joy—all for a fantastic cause! This special event will raise funds for the building of our new Education Wing, ensuring we can continue to nurture the arts in our community! Enjoy lite fares, a silent auction, and photo booth at this exciting fundraiser event!
The unGala is the theatre’s annual fundraising event for The Milton Theatre Renaissance Initiative. Aimed to raise monies to bring significant changes to the building structures and enhance the theatre experience.
Donations benefit the Milton Theatre, which supports scholarships for our students, improvements to our programming, and restorations and renovations to our historic theatre. Among those planned restorations includes the new Education Wing aimed at expanding our rehearsal studios, dressing rooms, and ability to support the next generation of performers. Other planned improvements include new bathroom facilities and new main floor seats.
Today, we are reaching out to you with an exciting opportunity. As you may know, we are embarking on an ambitious project to build an Education Wing at the Milton Theatre. This new space will allow us to expand our arts education programs, offering workshops, classes, and resources to students of all ages. It will be a place where young minds are inspired, talents are nurtured, and the arts come to life in our community.
Over the past decade, the Milton Theatre has been a cornerstone of our community’s revival, harnessing the transformative power of the arts to bring people together. It has become a source of pride for all, fostering connection and serving as the heart of our vibrant downtown revitalization. In its history, the theatre has served our town in various forms…movie theatre, basketball court, fire station, restaurant, social center, and the story doesn’t end there! Through several fires, countless “nor’easters”, economic downturns, and decades of neglect, it stands today as a symbol of what a small community can achieve through hard work and collaboration.
To bring our vision to fruition, we need the support of local businesses like yours. A donation of $500 towards our annual fundraiser unGala: Love Boat will directly contribute to the furthering of our mission and a step towards breaking ground on the new Education Wing.
