Teaching and inspiring the artist is of utmost importance to humanity. It is with great excitement and passion that we offer year-round classes to the community in order to enrich and enliven the spirit of the artist.

It’s no mystery that children are adorable, and children singing, acting, and dancing are even cuter. Cuteness isn’t the only reason that more children are becoming enthralled with the arts. Their brains love it!

Research shows that arts education makes smarter and happier kids. Arts education in school or extracurricular stimulates various parts of a child’s brain to make connections that common core subjects don’t make. Many developmental milestones during early childhood and even through elementary and middle school are centered around skills rooted in the arts. Skills as simple as using scissors, memorizing song lyrics, following multi-step instructions are all vital arts-based skills in childhood development.

More importantly, without kids in the arts today, we won’t have adults in the arts tomorrow. Without arts education programs, children do not have the opportunity to develop their passion or love of acting or singing. Television and music are deeply ingrained in our culture, but all that would change without arts education for children. All of our favorite pop stars and actors started out as awkward kids in theatre camps, choir, and dance class. Our culture needs arts education for children to continue to cultivate the entertainment we have come to expect.

Donating to the Milton Theatre Scholarship Fund supports students in Sussex County looking to enroll in our Musical Theatre Ensemble, Triple Threat Training Program, Summer Camps, and much more including enrichment trips and competitions in New York City and Disney World.

• A donation of only $5 a month for a full year provides lunch for 3 summer campers in need.
• A donation of $25 a month for a full year provides tuition to 1 summer camper.
• A donation of $30 a month for a full year sponsors a student in our Triple Threat program for a full year.
• A donation of $60 a month for a full year sponsors a student in our Musical Theatre Ensemble program for a full year.
• A generous donation of $100 a month for a full year sponsors 3 students to attend camp or our Musical Theatre Ensemble.
